  1. A well researched and well written article on the relevance of Summer Boarders to the Canterbury, NH of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The marriage of the text and the Luther Cody photographs adds even more texture to the piece and makes the reader want more. Congratulations to the Canterbury Historical Society and especially to the writer for a job very well done.

  2. My grandmother, Ida Marsh Morrill, took in summer boarders on their farm on Morrill Road. hey had many returning boarders!
